Portal terms

Last updated 18 October 2026

These terms apply to using the Steeleford Events portal: making an account, applying to our events, keeping your details and messaging us. They sit alongside our event terms and conditions, which govern attending an event and buying a ticket and are at steeleford.co.uk/termsandconditions.

Steeleford Events is run by Steeleford Events Ltd, company number 11812963, registered at The Millroom (Unit 11), Redhill Business Park, Olveston, Bristol, BS35 4AL.

You can reach us at contact@steeleford.co.uk.

Questions about your personal data go to supercarshow@steeleford.co.uk.

1. Your account

Your sign-in account is provided by our portal provider under its own terms, available on request. The same account may work at other organisations' portals; what you do at ours is covered here.

  • Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. A place offered on wrong details may be withdrawn.
  • Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
  • You must be 16 or over to hold an account.

2. Applying to an event

  • An application is a request for a place, not a booking. A place exists only once we accept the application and, where a ticket is required, you have bought it.
  • We decide applications at our discretion, including which category and which days we offer. We may limit numbers, require a particular kind of car and favour cars on our eligibility lists. We do not have to give a reason.
  • Some categories are approved automatically when a car is on our eligibility list. That approval is still subject to these terms and may be withdrawn if the details were wrong.
  • Where an accepted application comes with a buy-by deadline, the place lapses if the ticket is not bought by then. We will remind you before it does.
  • You may withdraw an application before the event. Refunds of any ticket follow our event terms and conditions and those of our ticketing provider.

3. Cars, documents and media

  • A car you register must be the one you bring, roadworthy, insured and taxed where the law requires. We may ask for proof of insurance before the event and may refuse entry without it.
  • Documents you upload must be genuine and yours. We check them only for the event you apply to and keep them as our privacy notice says.
  • A media pass is for working media. Tell us your outlet and role truthfully. A pass may be withdrawn for conduct that puts people at risk or breaks the venue's rules.
  • Photos and notes you add must be yours to share and must not be offensive. We may remove anything that is not.

4. Messages and notifications

Messages through the portal are between you and our organising team. Be civil; we may stop replying to or remove a member who is abusive. We send event news and decisions to your account and, unless you turn them off, by email. Decisions and changes to an event you are part of are always sent.

5. At the event

Attending is governed by our event terms and conditions at steeleford.co.uk/termsandconditions, the venue's rules and the law. They cover tickets and refunds, liability, photography at the event and conduct. Where these portal terms and the event terms differ about attending, the event terms apply.

6. Ending your membership

You can delete your account at any time from Account, under Danger zone. Open applications are withdrawn when you do.

We may remove a member from our portal for breaking these terms, our event terms or the law, or for conduct towards our team or other attendees that we reasonably consider unacceptable. Where we can, we will say why.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

The portal is provided as it is. We are not liable for it being unavailable, for a message or email not arriving, or for a decision made on details that were wrong. Our liability for attending an event is set out in our event terms and conditions.

8. Law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without limiting any consumer right you have where you live.

We will post any change here and update the date at the top, and announce a material change in the portal before it takes effect.
